I am Kathryn Taylor. Welcome to my practice. I am married, the mother of two grown children and the grandmother of four grandchildren. I am unique because I come from a Christian perspective. You are free to disagree with me. I will not be offended. I promise to be compassionate and honest.
I have been a counselor in private practice for 36 years. I am a graduate of Cornerstone University and received my master's degree in counseling from Western Michigan University.
I work primarily with adults. I have extensive experience with women's issues, men's issues, relationships, depression and grief.
In our first session we will talk about what has brought you to counseling and what you would like to see change in your life. Counseling is about you and not about me. I will want to ask you many questions about your life and relationships. I want to hear what you have to say.
Coming to counseling is not easy, that first call can be difficult. Counseling is a partnership between client and counselor. We meet to help you, this is your time. I will listen and provide insight. My concern is for you.
