I work to help you feel better during stressful, difficult and anxious times. My approach is strength-based and collaborative to bolster resilience and provide tools to help you overcome and manage stress, depression, anxiety, feelings of overwhelm and the many challenges you are facing. I enjoy working with adolescent, young adult, adult and older adult clients, and am happy to provide parent coaching.
Prior to private practice, I was Director of Psychological Treatment with the Mood Brain & Development Unit at the National Institute of Mental Health, specializing in the treatment of adolescent depression. In addition to treating depression, I help clients to overcome anxiety disorders (including social anxiety, GAD, panic and phobias), PTSD, OCD and BDD.
I have expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and evidence based treatments (including Exposure and Response Prevention, ERP). Depending on your insurance, I may be eligible as an out-of-network provider, and as a licensed psychologist my services may be covered in full or in part for reimbursement.
