I work with people experiencing anxiety, depression and recent or historical traumas to develop skills to cope, integrate the traumas into thier lives and heal. Trauma shows up in our lives in many ways including reactions that are bigger than expected to small situations, fear and avoidance, overeating/emotional eating, substance abuse, trouble with relationships, feelings of emptiness, helplessness and hopelessness.
I collaborate with my clients to create a safe space for self-exploration, integration of past traumas and finding a path to healing. I believe that you are the expert on yourself and encourage you to take an active role in your own healing journey, helping you identify your values, needs and wants and advocate for them for yourself.
Research shows the relationship between a client and their therapist is the most effective factor in counseling. I encourage you to reach out to me for a free consultation to see if I'm a good fit to walk beside you on your healing journey.

I believe you are the best expert on yourself, so I follow your lead on what you want to work on and when. I find that exploring issues in our present is a great way to uncover unhealed wounds from the past. I also look at cycles and triggers and how to notice the earliest signs they are starting and building tools to interrupt these cycles to bring about a different result.
