Finding the right therapist is the first step toward healing. Feeling comfortable, understood, and accepted with a therapist is as important as their training and specialty. The therapeutic relationship is not one-size-fits-all, and I work in a manner that recognizes and enhances this uniqueness. Both the science and excellence of my education and training and the art of the therapeutic connection guide me in helping you facilitate changes in your life. I integrate my extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Dialectical Behavioral therapy, Trauma, ADHD and Substance Use recovery to offer a holistic approach to treatment.
I specialize in supporting individuals, couples and families experiencing anxiety, depression, college/life transitions, relationship struggles, and self-esteem issues. In therapy you and/or your loved one will explore life's challenges; as well as healthy relationship skills (romantic/platonic) and interpersonal skills in order to find calm and happiness.
You are taking the first step in getting support for whatever problems or situations you are currently experiencing and I’m glad. We all face challenges in life, sometimes those challenges can feel immense; participating in therapy can provide you with safe, unconditional support and positive connection as you work through difficult times. I am here to help.

During this economy, I have decreased my session rates to accommodate clients/families, I do my best to not let financial constraints affect someone's ability to access quality mental health support. I also offer super bills for clients to submit for insurance reimbursement.

I work with clients who may be struggling with depression and anxiety related to their relationships or family. During our initial sessions, we will delve deeply into the issues at hand, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you live the life you want. Most of my clients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first month and sustained improvement thereafter

I use both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy in my practice. With CBT, we'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experiences. During treatment, I'll help you learn how to push back against those thoughts to change your feelings for the better. With DBT, we'll explore and practice healthy ways you can effectively manage big, distressing feelings.
