Mothers Group for Adopted Teens
This group meets with parents of adopted teens to talk about the various issues that can arise at the rocky time of adolescence. Parents are often shocked that their child who was once close to them very quickly withdraws and moves away. This can feel rejecting and concerning and you arent sure how to help you and your teen to get back to where you were. We can help.

Group for Adolescents with Anxiety
Our adolescent anxiety group is based on DBT skills. We begin the first few weeks with working on these skills so less focus is placed on these anxious teens having to talk about their anxious feelings. As time passes and they become comfortable we also introduce expression of feelings along with the DBT skills work.
