A graduate of Temple University, I have been a licensed psychologist since 1996. I work with a wide variety of clients and presenting problems including anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss. I have specific expertise in the areas of early trauma, child and adolescent development, parenting and chronic stress. Throughout my experience I have witnessed remarkable healing and a return to a sense of wholeness and aliveness that comes with support through honest and gentle exploration, reflection and self-awareness. The results often manifest in improved relationships, judgment and clarity.
I employ an integrative and eclectic approach that begins with providing a safe and confidential therapeutic alliance and assessment to tailor treatment uniquely to each individual. I often incorporate cognitive, somatic and mindfulness techniques, as well as using personal narratives to develop and deepen awareness, acceptance, and self empowerment.
I have been a Neurofeedback provider since 2000; an alternative approach to aid in nervous system regulation. I am a Certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (Somatic Experiencing International), trained EMDR therapist, yoga instructor (practiced in breath, body and meditation), and Eagala trained in equine assisted therapy.
