I am an LPC, LCPC, and LCMHC who has worked in community mental health and private practice for over 20 years with children, teens and adults. I earned my MA in General Clinical Psychology at the University of Houston - Clear Lake. I am licensed in Texas, Maine, Utah and Nevada. I primarily work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship issues and difficulties related to trauma. My approach is collaborative and supportive. I use cognitive techniques as well as focusing on the mind - body connection. I am a Master Practitioner in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).
I am excited to be able to offer Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) in addition to talk therapy. ART is an evidence-based method that uses the power of eye movements to combine and enhance a number of established therapies to treat trauma, as well as anxiety, depression, OCD, family issues, fears, performance anxiety and other issues.
It can be hard to get started with therapy, but it can be life changing. I'm happy to do a brief consultation before meeting to make the process more comfortable.
