For the last 20 years, I have been working with the law enforcement and military population, including family members. in addition, i have had a private practice working with children and families. My goal in therapy is to help individuals overcome trauma, attachment difficulties, anxiety and depression. My clinical background is working with attachment theory, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and reality therapy. My work with families living in high stressful environments, fast moving lives, and often times either single parents or households where both parents work,
My goal in therapy is to allow individuals to feel validated, heard, respected, and give hope when they feel there is no one else.
Although the work in therapy can seem overwhelming, I pride my therapeutic style in connecting with individuals of various backgrounds and with varying degrees of emotional difficulties. My focus is giving people a safe place to feel like they can overcome any obstacle they are facing.
