Nature Journaling
Discover nature & yourself to find calm. Nature journaling is the practice of recording observations & experiences in nature. It is mindfulness & reflection, deepening connection with nature, gaining a better understanding of self, body awareness & relaxation, to reduce stress & anxiety. Nature Therapy Group
This is not your traditional talk therapy. We meet in the woods. Studies show that being in nature can lower stress & help focus. Walking & being in nature allow the brain to release "feel-good" neurotransmitters & increase body temperature, which is thought to have a calming effect on the brain. Wouldn't you agree your brain could use some calming down? Join the Nature Therapy group. We will meet in a local Ann Arbor park, start with a short walk into the woods, pause for awareness mindfulness exercises, refresh, then walk back. I'm really looking forward to coming together for our grounding, reset, time together.
