I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy in order to best help address each client's individual needs. I mainly work with techniques from solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, and brief therapies. My experience has been primarily with clients who are experiencing grief, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and trauma.
I create a caring and calm environment to help my clients feel comfortable and accepted. I acknowledge each client where they are at and provide a space to encourage motivation and engagement. I want my clients to feel productive in therapy, so I help them set concrete and attainable goals to achieve during our time together.
