As a therapist I'm dedicated to working collaboratively and relationally with people aged 16 to over 100! Each person is assured to feel seen, and heard in a non-judgemental environment, where life's challenges can be explored and worked through. I draw from a variety of modalities, including Narrative Therapy, IFS, EMDR, Gottman, and CBT. I address a wide array of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment, interpersonal relationships, couples, family of origin, adoption, identity, aging, grief and loss, and life transitions. The outcome is a client coming to a deeper insight and personal growth.
Starting therapy can be scary for some of us, and there is no one size fits all way to "do therapy." What we accomplish together should result in a deeper self understanding, gaining new perspectives and skills, and finding new strengths. While change is incremental, the work is to discover what is sustainable for you to enhance the quality of your life.
Foundational to good therapy is a good relationship with your therapist. The only way to know if we are a good fit is to reach out and meet one another! I love meeting new clients and look forward to meeting with you and supporting you on this journey.
