Congratulations on taking steps toward support! Finding a clinician is not always easy, it takes time, and starting is hard! But feeling connected with your provider is one of the most important aspects to create support and change. I hope you find that connection on your journey whether with me or somebody else. Most people start counseling from a place of feeling overwhelmed, stuck, and uncertain how to change it. Some people know what is creating these challenging emotions in their life and other's don't. We will work together to explore your personal factors, determine your ideal goals, and build confidence to achieve them!
I love working with adults that feel stranded, lost, unseen or lonely - even if they have seemingly successful lives from the outside. Usually this manifests in anxiety, panic, depression, relationship issues, and trauma symptoms. I have completed Level 2 training in Internal Family Systems therapy; deep healing and self-compassion facilitate life changes.
