I am a Licensed Master Social Worker with a passion for dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). I am dedicated to helping people and reducing mental health stigma, believing that DBT is an excellent tool to have in anyone's toolbox. I have experience supporting individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, life transitions, and borderline personality disorder. I completed my Master of Social Work at the University of Maryland School of Social Work after first discovering my love for social work at the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
I understand that life can often throw unexpected curveballs, and I believe it is easier to manage them with proper support. I value a strength-based, dialectical-behavioral approach while also incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy, psychoanalysis, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing.
