Sometimes clients who reach out to me are struggling with identifiable issues - depression, anxiety, addictions, stress, grief, life transitions, or illness. Sometimes they're couples grappling with the fallout of infidelity or suffering from a loss of intimacy. And sometimes new clients don't even know what the problem is. They just know something isn't working. I've been practicing for almost 40 years, helping individuals and couples gain a deeper understanding of themselves and each other so they can live whole-heartedly and in the present.
My approach is relational and supportive and draws on modern research on the brain, trauma, and attachment. Clients feel safe to explore and to become self-aware and accepting. As a result, they achieve greater clarity, recognize new possibilities and directions, feel greater freedom and flexibility, and find courage, confidence, and a better way forward.
