I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 25 years of experience. My focus is on adolescents and adults. I have had the pleasure of working with clients from a variety of backgrounds. I strive to help clients identify and achieve their personal goals. I enjoy working with clients who are moving from adolescence to young adulthood, adults who are looking to enhance their life experience and those who are working through change. Working collaboratively in a therapeutic setting is a unique and personal experience and I learn from each and every client I work with.
I have experience working with adoption, grief and loss, LGBTQ+ individuals, depression, anxiety and life transitions. Additional areas include infertility, HIV/AIDS, transgender related issues, relationship issues, family of origin concerns. co-parenting concerns, elder issues as well as assessments for bariatric surgery and gender affirming treatment.
I have found that allowing individuals the opportunity to explore issues much resolution can be found. I believe that through the therapeutic relationship much growth can occur and my ability to connect and build relationships with clients allows them to work on areas that can be difficult. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental atmosphere.
