As an EMDR therapist, I treat trauma of all kinds, ranging from single incidents to more complex histories, as well as fears and phobias. A major focus of my practice is in helping you to build the skills essential to reducing anxiety and stress. While entering therapy can feel daunting, it also represents the beginning of a journey of self-discovery and growth that offers tremendous rewards.
I have been in private practice for over 25 years, first in Washington, D.C. and for the past 20 years in Boulder. I have advanced certification in EMDR and extensive experience with anxiety management techniques, including Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Mindful Self-Compassion and Hypnotherapy. I also rely on the Internal Family Systems model.
