As a solution focused therapist, who trained at the University of Pennsylvania, my goal is to help empower you to find your own strengths. I approach therapy in a manner that will assist you to heal the wounds of your past, and deal with the issues of the present in a warm, validating, and non-judgmental manner. I'm a qualified clinical supervisor, and a certified EMDR therapist, with over 20 years of experience working with many types of disorders. However, my areas of expertise are ADHD and learning differences, PTSD, dissociative disorders, chronic illness, family/relationship problems, anxiety, and depression.
I’m licensed to provide telehealth in Florida, New York, Maryland, and North Carolina. I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), mindfulness, & clinical hypnosis. By utilizing these techniques, I hope to enable you to have better control over your emotions.
I also provide ADHD coaching which helps those with attention/executive functioning deficits learn to compensate in the areas where there might be challenges such as time management, organization, and emotional regulation.
