Hello! I am a board-certified Dance/Movement Therapist and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I strive to assist my clients to move through challenging experiences by helping them with understanding the power of the mind/body connection. The hope is that once this connection is better understood, an individual can reconnect to their life fully. I have had the privilege to work in community, school, and hospital environments as well as private practice settings with children to adults.
Having personally experienced the powerful and transformative aspects of combining Dance/Movement Therapy with traditional talk therapy approaches, (such as person-centered, cognitive behavioral therapy, and reality therapy) my understanding of how best to support my clients throughout their personal journeys to wholeness has been strengthened.
These experiences have provided me with extensive understanding of how unique each experience within the therapy process truly can be. This has allowed me to become skilled in building individualized treatment plans for each client.
