About
I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist who takes an integrative approach to therapy, tailoring treatment to each individual client’s needs. I believe warmth, compassion, and a strong skill set are essential to therapeutic success, and I strive to offer that to every person I treat. I work in a collaborative and active way, providing an accepting environment to identify goals and realistic approaches to change. I can help you learn skills to handle uncomfortable thoughts and feelings, as well as take action to build the life you want.
I’ve worked at highly regarded university counseling centers, as well as in hospital systems, and private practice. I specialize in working with college-age students and adults. I have expertise in evidence-based treatments, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I am certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD.
One of the most important predictors of successful therapy is the relationship between the client and the therapist. If you have questions or want to talk to see if we might be a good fit, please feel free to contact me for a consultation. I look forward to speaking with you and learning more about what you are looking for.
