My therapeutic approach is psychodynamic in nature because I have found that dealing with root issues is most effective long term. I am eclectic as well since I customize treatment to each person. Additionally, I am skilled at developing the therapeutic relationship - as research has shown that this is a robust indicator of treatment success.
We do it together. Sometimes clients are in a lot of pain and/or want to move too quickly. Oftentimes as the layers are removed, issues turn out to be much more invasive/entrenched and take time to address.
