I value it when a client is honest about what is helpful/not as I believe we are on this journey together. My areas of focus include depression, relationship challenges, LGBTQIA and sexuality, and addiction although we may address much more based on what you bring to the session and have as a goal.
My approach focuses on exploring a client's experience, helping them identify problematic behavior, then work towards a solution. I utilize tools such as in-session exercises, take-home activities, and process time to create a holistic plan to improve overall wellbeing. I focus on creating a safe place that fosters openness and confidence.
