I specialize in DBT and offer individual and group therapy options to assist clients in making important changes in the way they manage their emotions.

Many individuals struggle with feeling like a failure and that nothing they do is ever good enough. This stems from chronic invalidation of their internal experiences. With DBT, we'll look for ways to find dialectical balance in all areas of your life and evaluate and problem solve the things that are getting in the way of that balance - past traumas, learned behaviors, emotion dysregulation, maladaptive coping behaviors, etc.

Groups

DBT Skills Therapy Group

Hosted by

I provide DBT skills groups for teens and adults. Groups are typically 1.5 hours a week. There are three 8-week modules that are typically repeated in order to complete a full course of DBT skills. Mindfulness skills are taught in every module. The three modules rotate through Interpersonal Effectiveness skills, Emotion Regulation skills, and Distress Tolerance skills.
