We learn who we are and what we have to offer from a lifetime of relationships, both good and bad. Everyone experiences relationships that create festering messages/beliefs that burrow into our souls, leading to internal and external pain. We often forget the importance of personal value and worth within relationships, and the results vary from bitterness, anger, depression, anxiety, addiction, etc. Furthermore, we can get so caught up our anxieties, fears, and pain, that we forget to hold onto and pour into the relationships that provide support, leaving us isolated in our suffering.
I work with couples, and families on a wide range of relational and personal struggles, always taking a client-centered approach. I am certified in Spiritual First Aid, Skills for Psychological Recovery, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and the Prepare/Enriched premarital marriage assessment tool.
