I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Registered Play Therapist, EMDR Certified Therapist, Intermediate Theraplay Trained Therapist, TBRI Practitioner, and IFS informed. My passion is helping children and families who are struggling to connect, communicate, and relate find more meaningful and enjoyable relationships during the brief formative years when family is the greatest source of support. I specialize in supporting parents with resources, education, and training so they can feel better supported and equipped to handle the often emotional roller coaster of child-rearing in a nurturing, engaging, and structured way.
My experience counseling at a non-profit organization and private practice have prepared me to counsel parents on issues such as abuse, adoption/foster transitions, anger, attachment, ADD/ADHD, boundaries, bullying, childhood trauma, codependency, depression, grief, life adjustment, and peer/sibling conflict.
