Hello, my name is Katherine King. I have worked as a therapist for almost 20 years. My role is to help you figure out what is right for you and what steps will help you reach your goals. Over the years I have worked with a variety of clients from various backgrounds. I have worked with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, identity exploration, relationship development, self-esteem, addiction, and adjustment problems. Most people have been bombarded with outside opinions that can make it hard to decide what they truly think and want. I hope to help you quiet those outside messages to uncover your authentic self.
I believe that all of us have unique experiences and we hold the power within ourselves to make a change. As a member of the Great Lakes Psychology Group network, I have a team standing by Monday-Friday between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm Eastern available to help schedule an appointment and answer billing and insurance questions.
I believe humor can enhance the therapeutic process. I am a straight talker, but also kind and supportive. I am experienced in sitting with uncomfortable feelings and holding space for clients to experience the joys and discomforts of change. I love seeing clients overcome obstacles and meet their personal goals.
