I work with clients who are ready for transformative work. My focus is to guide each client/s towards building a sense of competency, resourcefulness and helping them recognize that they hold the key to their own healing. I will explore current behaviors and life situations with clients and help them figure out which ones are inhibiting progress, which ones are serving them, and which are ready to be evolved into something else.
My specialty is working from a trauma informed social justice lens to help the clients understand their place in the world and the role they play in it. I use behavioral modification, mindfulness, body awareness, and visualization to help them discover their underlying narratives and address generational and personal trauma.
I think all perspectives and walks of life hold value and lessons to be learned. Relationship is central to all lived experience, and it will be a big focus of our work together. Everyone is in relationship to themselves, others and the world around them. My goal is to provide opportunity for secure relationship building in our sessions.
