"Although all of life's transitions fall into one of two groups, predictable, (such as marriage or children leaving for college) and unpredictable, (a traumatic event or sudden death of a loved one) no two people react to them in exactly the same way. For some of us, they may force us to make subtle changes to our existing life and see things in a new light. While for others, they may close one chapter of our life, and force us to start a new one, putting us on a new and unfamiliar path that we have never walked before.

Regardless of my clients unique and personal reaction to each of life's transitions, I work passionately with them to find healing insight and self-awareness as they travel down the path of life. We work together to process the thoughts and feelings associated with each of life's turning points.

With 11+ years' experience working exclusively with women, and a faith-based program, (the Minirth Christian Program) I have a unique, female focused, and faith based background and therapy ideology. I also have experience working with children, adolecents, couples, and families and I am a board approved LCSW clinical supervisor.

Welcome to the Transitions Counseling Mood Disorders Support Group! This group is designed to offer ongoing support for adult clients struggling with Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorders and Anxiety disorders. The group will focus on providing healthy coping strategies for those in need of continued support and guidance for coping with mood disorders. Groups will be led by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in the usage of CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Behavioral Activation and Solution Focused therapies. We hope you can join us and look forward to supporting journey toward positive mental health and happiness!
