Hi, I’m Katherine! I help people with complex trauma and dissociation feel more present, grounded, and connected. I do my best work with teens and young adults who have experienced abuse, neglect, attachment wounding, and grief and loss. My clients often feel overwhelmed by their emotions, struggling to understand them. They may have a hard time feeling safe in relationships. They sometimes feel unsure about who they are and what they want/need. Through coming to therapy, they are hoping to feel more stable, capable of handling what life throws at them, and secure in their relationships with themselves and the people they love.
My top priority will always be to make sure you feel safe and comfortable. First, we'll teach you new ways to cope with overwhelming feelings and symptoms. Then, we'll help you to tell your story, processing your experiences and acknowledging their impact. From there, we'll help you to reconnect with yourself, other people, and the world around you.
During our time together, I hope to create a space where all parts of you can feel seen, heard, and understood.
