I am a clinical psychologist at Stonewall Integrative Therapy and provide telemedicine services. Licensed in New York and Connecticut, I work with adults, adolescents, and students. I work to balance relationship with use of evidence-basted therapy. I do active therapy, following your needs and goals while providing structure and skills training. I am certified in Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia, Interpersonal Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy.
Prior to private practice, I worked with veterans for 14 years, acquired a MA in Sport Psychology and was a Division I swimming coach at Harvard.
I specialize in insomnia and sleep disorders, anxiety, trauma-related dx (PTSD), depression, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and life transitions. I have significant experience in exposure-based therapies to treat trauma as well as therapies targeting emotion regulation, anxiety, insomnia, depression, interpersonal challenges, and health behavior change.
I love evidence based therapies, and I respect the research and experience indicating the importance of the relationship between therapist and client. I believe that for you to get the most out of your time and effort, our relationship should be filled with empathy and compatibility, and integrating the two to meet your needs is my overreaching goal.
