Hi there! I'm Katherine and I'm glad you're here. You might be someone who looks like they have it together (keeping up with classes, maintaining friendships, meeting deadlines) while internally your mind won't slow down. You replay conversations, second-guess decisions, and hold yourself to high standards. You're kind to others, but not always to yourself. You show up for everyone around you and it's exhausting. Sometimes thoughts feel sticky or intrusive, or you may have a persistent feeling that something is off even when everything is logically fine. You're self-aware and thoughtful, but that awareness hasn't brought relief yet.
Therapy with me is warm, practical, and a safe place to say anything. We'll address any bothersome symptoms while building confidence, self-compassion, and trust in yourself. We'll figure out where you are, where you want to go, and work on it together. I specialize in treating anxiety and OCD. I work primarily with college-aged and young adult clients.
