I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Art Therapist. Over the course of my career I have worked in a variety of settings which has helped me learn to adapt my methods to best suit each individual, couple or family I work with. I believe in meeting a client where they are while also challenging them to take positive steps toward change and growth. Be it a gentle nudge or a more assertive push I believe it helps create a shift for those I see.
I often if not always utilize use my creativity, be it through the use of art therapy or therapeutic writing or through a simple task or “assignment” for outside of session along with my optimistic nature to help clients find meaning and purpose in order to gain confidence on their chosen path.
I have limited weekend appointments available. At this time I am only offering Telehealth. During this challenging time connection and support in any modality has been essential and I have found creative ways to engage in expressive therapies with clients through this format if that is something they wish to explore.
