Whether you face specific challenges or are interested in self-exploration, I provide a non-judgmental and compassionate space to explore thoughts and feelings, build upon your strengths, change patterns that no longer serve you, and develop effective coping strategies. I work with children, adolescents and adults with a range of therapeutic needs, including mood disorders, anxiety, life transitions and relationship stressors. I also provide assessments for children and adolescents who may require and benefit from accommodations in school or for standardized testing.
I provide an individualized and flexible approach to therapy. I work primarily from a psychodynamic perspective, meaning that I believe past experiences shape our present and that insight into these patterns can help enact change and promote improved well-being. I also incorporate CBT, DBT, relational, family systems and mindfulness approaches into my work.
The most important ingredient to psychotherapy is comfort and connection with your therapist. My focus is on providing a space in which you feel understood and supported in attaining your personal goals. I offer a 10-15 minute consultation call, free of charge. I look forward to speaking with you and starting this rewarding work together.
