My approach to therapy is person-centered, compassionate, and collaborative. I work closely with children, adolescents, and their families to identify strengths and develop meaningful goals that support growth and well-being. I recognize that each individual experiences challenges differently, and I tailor my therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs of every client. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in special education and developmental therapy. That experience helps me understand how developmental differences, sensory needs, and learning challenges affect behavior, emotions, and family life.
Drawing from evidence-based interventions, I help young people develop coping skills, increase self-awareness, strengthen emotional regulation, and build confidence as they navigate life's challenges. I have experience working with children and adolescents facing a variety of concerns, including anxiety, trauma and autism spectrum disorder.
I am passionate about helping youth understand their emotions, develop healthy relationships, and discover their own strengths and abilities. Outside of the therapy room, I'm a mother of three, which has deepened my appreciation for the unique strengths and challenges every family experiences.
