About
Hello and welcome! My focus towards therapy is using a psychodynamic person-centered relational approach valuing the unique needs and desires of each client. I strive to foster a safe, nonjudgmental space for clients to share their own perspectives and emotions surrounding their past and present life experiences while also identifying, exploring, and challenging self-defeating beliefs. I also consider how multiple systems of oppression and structural inequalities impact my clients' wellbeing and the concerns they bring forth.
I hold experience within both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings. I have provided group and individual therapy to persons suffering from various levels of mental health issues including but not limited to, depression, suicidal ideations, anxiety, mania, mood disturbance, and psychosis.
I am here to hold a unique and compassionate space for clients to feel seen and find resilience within whichever challenges they present. Reaching out for help is a commendable strength that takes a lot of courage. I understand therapy as a journey unique to each individual and am committed to walking alongside each client towards peace and healing.
