Hi, I'm Katelyn at Sunflower Counseling KC. I am passionate about providing trauma-informed care, and in this therapeutic space you will be met with acceptance, empathy, compassion, and truth. With nine years of experience in the field, I am dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for my clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. My approach is collaborative, focusing on building a strong therapeutic relationship that fosters your growth and healing.
I use techniques from a variety of evidence based practices, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Play Therapy to help you process trauma and heal your inner child. My approach to therapy is compassionate, client-centered, and tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual.
