My clients are interested in true change, even if that means having their assumptions challenged. They want to grow emotionally, build resilience, and increase self-awareness. While managing symptoms can be important, my clients have a desire to get to the root of their issues. They want to feel as if they are the driver of their life. I attract clients who are curious and passionate; have a history of childhood or attachment trauma; struggle with identity, self worth, and disconnection; feel their past traumas significantly impact their present; and/or despite consciously wanting to change, they have been unable to do so.
I draw on many modalities depending on the individual need. Generally, I practice depth, insight, somatic and relational therapy. My clients seek to understand unconscious drivers of their life and how this may manifest in their body. There are several theories I use to this end: Jungian (psychoanalytic) therapy, somatic therapy, EMDR, mindfulness, and IFS.
Whether this is your first time trying therapy or you’ve been in therapy for years, my goal is to provide a nonjudgmental, nurturing and safe container where you have the freedom to reflect and get to know yourself on a deep level.
