Hi! My name is Kate. My goal is to provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space for clients to heal and grow. Through evidence-based techniques and tailored treatment to each individual’s needs, I aim to empower clients to build resilience and regain control over their lives.
I began my journey as a counselor working with people struggling with drug and alcohol addictions, and have also worked extensively with teenagers and individuals suffering from trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders.
In addition to individual counseling, I have worked with couples and families facing relational discord, marriage/parenting difficulties, and family conflicts. I do have a background in Christian counseling, and if desired, can integrate faith-based principles for those who seek spiritual guidance in their healing journey.
I believe in the power of cultural humility and continuously seek to understand and respect the unique experiences, identities, and challenges of each client. My goal is to provide a safe space for all people, and with empathy and expertise, helping them find hope and lasting change.
