Hello, I’m Katelyn Dougherty, M.S, LAPC.,a Clinical Mental Health Counselor with 3 years of experience supporting young adults & adults as they navigate life’s ups, downs, & everything in between. I work with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship struggles, low self-esteem, & stress. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you challenge & reframe negative thought patterns, & Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which focuses on four major areas mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness to build practical, real-life skills in session.
My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore what’s been weighing on you. I’ll support you in building coping skills and tools you can use beyond our sessions.
