Looking to feel truly seen and supported in your healing journey? I’m Dr. Katie Dolieslager, a Licensed Counselor with a doctorate in Counseling and Supervision. Through an Attachment Theory lens, I explore how relationships shape our lives. Using play therapy, art therapy, and time in nature, I help clients of all ages—children, adults, and couples—discover their worth, purpose, and path to healing, while also mentoring future counselors and exploring the connection between nature, well-being, and family attachment.
Katie’s clinical approach is rooted in Attachment Theory, focusing on how early and ongoing relationships shape personal well-being. She uses play therapy, art, nature-based interventions, and safe, intentional spaces to help clients of all ages—children, adults, couples—experience healing and transformation.
As an educator, Katie is passionate about mentoring future counselors, inspired by the deep impact her own teachers had on her journey. Her research interests center around nature, well-being, and family attachment. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking National Parks with her husband, daughter, and dog, caring for her plants, reading & connecting with family.
