As a counselor, I embrace our human resilience, taking an empathetic and developmentally-minded approach to counseling. I provide holistic support to clients as they move toward a more balanced and meaningful life. Fostering a supportive and trusting relationship is central to this work, and my goal is to make our working relationship feel human and authentic, rather than routine and robotic. I aim to provide culturally-sensitive care that is affirming of all identities, and clients can expect acceptance, warmth, and a safe environment when working with me.
I take an integrative approach to counseling, drawing concepts from multiple counseling theories to best support each individual client. I am also an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)-Trained Therapist, which allows me to help clients work through and heal from trauma and other challenging experiences.
