We all want to feel heard and understood in our closest relationships. I guide clients to use their emotions as a tool for understanding their needs and boundaries and then support them in sharing those with others when it feels right - this can often lead to a deeper connection with self and others, as well as increased self confidence. I work with individuals, couples, and families seeking support with disconnection, anxiety, substance use, affair recovery, depression, self compassion, boundaries, life transitions, and dating support. I specialize in working with pre-marital couples, new parents, and parent-child relationships.
I strive to create an environment where you feel heard and understood; a sense of security & safety are crucial to any therapeutic space. I practice Attachment-based and Emotionally-Focused Therapy, which focus on exploring how you relate to your own emotions and what you might do with them that gets in the way of communicating directly and vulnerably.
I am committed to personal and professional growth, so I participate in ongoing training and supervision in Emotionally-Focused Therapy and working with diverse populations including LGBTQIA+. I invite you to reach out for a consultation so we can connect face-to-face! I look forward to hearing from you!
