About

We all have a story to share. The act of sharing can be healing, especially in the presence of a compassionate other. I believe human beings share a universal, innate need to be seen and heard and that there are many ways to share and be in relationship with one’s story in service of health and well being. This might include insight, transformation, release, change, an expanded sense of acceptance, compassion, kindness, a more desired sense of self in the world, relief, better coping strategies, a role rehearsal, and/or more balance and joy in relationship and one’s everyday.
I am client-centered, affirmative, strengths based, trauma informed and use talk therapy with creative, expressive, and contemplative processes. Creative processes can include the use of story, role play, movement, music, art, poetry, and more. Sessions can be both directive and non-directive with an integrated approach for individualized, holistic care.
I enjoy working with many ages and individual abilities, and will provide a warm, welcoming, non-judgmental, affirmative space in sessions to explore, work on, collaborate, and achieve your counseling goals. I recognize that seeking help may not be easy to do, that your time is valuable, and encourage you to schedule a free no-obligatory consultation.
