After 15 years in schools, I saw how parents of neurodivergent kids often felt overwhelmed and under-resourced. That’s why I pursued further education to offer a joyful, family-powered play therapy.
I’m Kate. I specialize in guiding neurodivergent children (ages 3–12, sometimes up to 18) with autism, ADHD, anxiety, Down syndrome, or learning differences—and their families. They face sensory overwhelm, social misunderstandings, and emotional ups and downs in a world not built for their brilliance.
In my playroom, I partner with parents as co-regulators and advocates—celebrating their child’s “superpowers,” building real-life social and emotional skills together, and empowering families with tools and confidence. Research shows that parent involvement in play therapy significantly boosts outcomes and emotional connection.
