Welcome. If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, or trauma, help is here. I am Kate Ramsey. I am a licensed professional counselor and trained EMDR therapist.
I am driven to help people understand how our amazing brains adapt to protect us when faced with trauma and pain. The extraordinary ways in which we cope in the face of pain allow us to survive. However, when the trauma has passed, these same coping skills can actually cause pain and challenges in our daily lives.
Together we will work to understand your past and how it impacts you now and learn how to respond in healthy ways to find a peace int the present.
I help people recover from trauma and overcome anxiety and depression. I provide supportive and healing talk therapy and help each client develop coping strategies for managing life stressors. I have specialized training in EMDR so that, should my clients want to do deeper healing work, that option is also available.
