Most of my clients seek out therapy because of anxiety, grief, life transitions or low self-confidence. I work online with adults and do my best to create a safe and inclusive space for all populations. My clients and I work to identify dysfunctional patterns and to gain self-knowledge to help change those patterns. I aim to help my clients know themselves better and to live intentionally no matter what their goals are.
I became a Professional Counselor 15 years ago, first working in a college career and counseling center, and since 2015 in private practice. It has been the most fulfilling work of my life. I also draw on my 10 years experience in corporate management and extensive volunteer work in the field of grief. I am in-network with Aetna and Cigna, and am expanding.
Health and healing, both mental and physical, are our natural way. Schema Therapy helps me to assist clients in understanding how our past experiences can lead to patterns that are dysfunctional in the present.
