I enjoy working with people who are experiencing difficult life issues, often related to relationships and/or cultural expectation of who they "should" be. I support individuals and couples who are stuck in a moment of confusion, grief, hopelessness, or despair, helping them figure out how to manage difficult challenges. I particularly appreciate opportunities to work with those in the process of exploring gender identity and sexual orientation, racial identity, and acute life/work crises such as grief, loss, and other traumas, including critical events.
I work with clients based upon a mutually agreed plan of action. You will tell me what you would like to change, and I will help you figure out how to get there. I draw from a variety of techniques and I choose how I will work with you based on what I believe will be the most effective strategies to support your own work.
I invite you to reach out for an appointment. We will devise a plan to meet your needs, and work at a pace that supports the accomplishment of your goals. I provide calm, safety, and a quiet space in which you may reflect, plan, and grow.
