I am not currently accepting new therapy clients, and I have a waitlist for testing. I work mostly with teens and young adults with trauma who would like a safe space to process life's inevitable dark moments, to know and love themselves better, or just to shake out any feelings of stuckness. I love working with those who have never been to therapy before or may feel some resistance to the idea of therapy. In the interest of trauma-informed work, I do not force my clients to tell me anything they do not feel safe discussing, and I'm happy to take those who want to move at their own pace with some guidance.
I offer both therapy and comprehensive psychological evaluations. With testing, I use a collaborative and humanistic approach to understanding the whole person, as well as diagnosing and offering tailored recommendations for care. In therapy, I use a relational-cultural approach with integrated CBT, mindfulness, play therapy, sand tray, and EMDR.
I recently moved to Rhode Island from Vermont with my dog (Heidi) and cat (Sophie) and am excited to begin at Cumberland Counseling to serve the local community and build connection. I have appointments open at both the East Providence and Cumberland locations.
