Sometimes the hardest transitions aren’t the visible ones. They’re the moments when the ways you’ve come to understand yourself and your worth no longer make sense. Maybe you’re recovering from an eating disorder, questioning wellness culture or a faith tradition, navigating young adulthood or midlife, or or adjusting to a body that no longer feels familiar.
I work with people who are untangling from inherited stories about who they should be so they can build lives rooted in self-trust, authenticity, and the belief that their worth has never needed to be earned.
I love the messy middle of change. Together, we explore not only what’s happening in your relationships or behaviors, but also the meaning you make of them. My style is warm, curious, and collaborative, making space for grief, anger, humor, and the courage to take up space, set boundaries, and trust yourself.
I’ve spent my career accompanying people through life’s biggest transitions: illness, death, and grief; eating disorder recovery; college and young adulthood; midlife and menopause; and identity-shaking shifts of meaning and purpose. I bring a background in theology and spiritual care, and I’m a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor and trained in EMDR.

Online Non-Diet Menopause Support Group
Feel like no one prepared you for this part of life? You're not alone. Menopause is a major transition - physically, emotionally, and mentally - yet so many women are left feeling isolated, invalidated, or confused by the ever-present (and uninformed) advice to “just lose weight.” It’s time for a different approach. Mind, Body & Beyond is a VIRTUAL support group that offers expert guidance and meaningful connection through the menopause journey, all in a weight-inclusive, non-diet space where you’ll feel seen, heard, and supported. Reach out or see my website at amongthetreescounseling.com for more information.
