DBT Skills
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based therapeutic modality that has been proven effective in managing intense emotions, reducing self-harming behaviors, and improving communication and relationships. This group will focus on building the skills in each of the four modules of DBT: core mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance. This group is a weekly DBT-informed group for teens who have difficulty managing intense or extreme emotions, struggle with anxiety or depression, struggle to identify or share feelings, engage in self-harm, make impulsive decisions or struggle with conflict at home or at school.
Teen Girls Empowered
The Teen Girls Empowered Groups consists of weekly sessions to give your daughter the skills she needs to thrive as a strong and empowered female. These sessions are designed to support tween and teen girls with challenges around self-esteem, assertiveness, depression, anxiety, peer and family conflict, and more.
Strong Kids
Ideal for kids who are overwhelmed with big emotions, have a hard time connecting with peers and making friends, struggle to believe in their unique strengths, could benefit from a safe space to connect with other kids like them and practice the skills to help them thrive! Benefits to your child include: Mastering social skills, learning how to manage big emotions, developing healthy communication skills, identifying and appreciating his or her unique strengths, increasing self-acceptance, feeling understood and supported by group members!
