I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and a Licensed Professional Art Therapist. I specialize in the treatment of traumatic stress, depression, and anxiety. In addition, I work comfortably with general mood and relational difficulty, life adjustments, grief, poor relationship with food, self-esteem concerns, and unwanted maladaptive behaviors. It is my belief that we are all worthy of self-love and fulfillment, but may have been hindered in some way in our lives to believe this to be true. If your path feels dark, I am the flashlight that offers guidance and clarity as you find your way through.
It is well studied that the alliance between client and therapist is the foundation for the healing to occur, which ultimately results in desired changes. In the context of this trusting relationship, it is my goal for clients to experience being heard without judgement. That allows for reframing the meaning of safety and wellness.
I take an integrative approach, all of which are evidence based.This includes art making, EMDR, Mindfulness & Somatic Release, CBT, and DBT. It is important the client not feel bewildered by themselves, or the process of their own care.I work collaboratively to practice calming skills, offer psycho-education, build self-esteem, and explore unresolved hurts.

Groups
Art Therapy and Clinical Counseling Supervision
Supervise current Licensed Professional Counselors and Art Therapists who are working in their field with clients. Members of the group meet to fulfill required supervision hours with the goal of independent licensure through the Counseling Board of Ohio, as well as become Registered Art Therapists through the Art Therapy Credentialing Board. Content of the supervision is set by the licensing boards and meets the most current standards of practice for attaining licensure.
